Clubhouse Bar & Grill/Pizzeria: Your Local American Eatery

Lovely local bar and eatery. We ordered wings, extra hot and honey hot, and also the buffalo chicken wrap and crispy chicken wrap. The food was delicious and we will definitely go back. Unfortunately there was only one person there and she was doing everything herself, so it was a bit slow. I must add that she was apologetic and super sweet. I recommend this place to everyone

Popped in here to grab some drinks and play pool while in town. Didn’t have time to stay for food, but some of the items coming out of the kitchen smelled great! Bartender was friendly as were the fellow patrons. Would absolutely stop in again next time in Newtown!

Food was ok. Drinks were ok. Prices are fair, especially considering their location. Decor is classic drive bar. They do have every NFL game on a different TV so if you're a fan of somebody other than the eagles you can see your team live. They also do free drinks during happy hour.

Great local place! The Clubhouse has been around a long time and as such gets quite a few regulars. However, this is not an issue that drives non-regulars away like in so many other places. The crowd is always lively and the bar food is on par with what you would expect. The interior is dark in the middle of the day, which some people may not like. It doesn't seem to be an issue overall. Sports! Sport! Sports! if you are into football or whatever sport is going on, chances are they have the game on one of the many TVs at the bar. Great happy hour that draws a big crowd. Don't expect to find any pretentiousness at this place!! The staff is very friendly and the take out is decent. Pizzas are good and the sandwiches are about what you would expect. There is an outside seating area adjacent to the main bar which is nice on a summer night. The weekends can get very busy on the takeout side and if you don't call ahead, expect a wait. Overall, a nice little place to grab some low-key pub grub and a beer!

Well I'm new to going to this bar. I just had my second visit this past week, of course different going on a Tuesday versus a Friday. Fridays is pretty jumping and with a great crowd and the bartenders are extremely attentive. I tried their pizza steak the other day and the food was very good and tasty. Overall a great place to stop in for a great meal and a good environment after a long day of work.

My friends and I gather here every so often to catch up and have a beer and it’s always been good to us. The Funnel Cake fries are what I normally get and they’re always delicious!

The Clubhouse Bar & Grill was really good. We had some sandwiches and appetizers and they were really good. They seems to be a little short staffed when we visited on a Sunday, but everyone was nice and we weren’t in a rush.

The bartender was very accommodating even though she was really busy. She didn’t skip a beat. I would recommend this place if you’re passing through!
